First Came My Girls!

Have I got eggs?  I am so proud of the girls. They do a wonderful job. I just can't keep up washing.
I get about 2 doz. a day. It is so much fun.  Really enjoy the girls. I sell eggs at my home and on thursday I take 10 doz. to the dairy here. I have all different colors of eggs. It's like a Easter egg hunt
without the hunting.......

   

Making of the Past......

So sorry it has been a while. I was busy than got sick.  It happens! ! !  I wanted to get more pictures on here of my Reunion quilt....This was the first block....then Mother and Father
with 16 blocks of children's names. Could you handle 16 kids....
Sometimes my 2 boys were like 16....but as I look back
wish I would of had more children.....

This was my back of the quilt. Turned out nice.....Very
proud of it and I wish I could have made one for all who came......So sorry who missed out. But I  hope the owner of this likes it with the love it was made with.........




                                                                              

Cox Family Reunion!

Been a while! I was soooo busy with my family quilt. It just took all my time. But I will show a picture when I unload them. It was well worth the time......Everyone loved it and I got each to sign it at the reunion. I must say it went for more money than I every was thinking it would. I'll come back when I get my pictures.....This one you can't see very well............

Another One Bites The Dust ! ! !

Storm was coming in ....I was waiting to put the girls and boy up.  But all the talk and it played out.

But the noise and clouds put on a fabulous show.......

When this happens it is like, God is saying " Remember I am in conplete control". And you know what..... he is. I am so blessed. So much to thank him for each day.

There were 13 Brother and Sisters. That makes for a lot of family. I'm going to embroidery the names of the 13 in each block, than put it together with white stripes......I have already fell in love with this because it has a lot of my past fabric in it. Dresses, curtins, quilts, sheets, table cloths and
fabric that my Mother gave me, she made things out of.........Even my grandaughter's dresses.......

Saturday Showoff !!!!

This is in my sewing room....I decided you might like to see all my insperational peices of art....
I like to look at these machines and imagine the wonderful little ladys and all the awesome things she sewed on this old machine.

This is a crank model...I have the case for this one.....My dear sweet Mother gave me the ST doll when I was about 6. I have a picture of my grandbaby sewing her first dress at eight.....And this is a postcard a friend sent me for my sewing room... Did I cover it all?


I have these beautiful little machines and pincustions all over my sewing room.....I enjoy them very much. The little treasures just make my day when I enter this room...I do love the sewing baskets
as well. I have a few in different sizes. You can spy some in my pictures.....My Mother gave me the clock for my room too....Really miss her  but she is always apart of my daily memories...So much of who I am she has a hand in .....as all out Mothers so lovingly do!

This pattern came from ....Leedle deedle quilt....It is called String X Blocks...  I think I'm going to like the blues...makes me think of country...not really a country blue but I liked  all the blue colors....I'll be showing you my progress as time goes on.....I'm doing quilt, bed ruffel, and curtains in there......am I really...brave girl.....

Where Am I Going?????

     I just super  love these chairs. They are so artistic and inspiring to me. I don't like the guy...no not the young guy...He's kind of cute but the guy in the hat with the ladies dress on.
Indulge me here!  I have been looking for a chair everywhere. I like the one beside the cute guy.
Just think if you could put this in your quilting room....Great....Do you have room......

My new fabric....These colors are soooo delicious. I just love
mauve....I haven't decided just how I'm going to use them.
But the Stitchin" Heaven had a sell. Buy 3 yards and get one free.....I found this for 7.00 a yard....Fabric you know has went up and it is so high now. I got this in the sale room.....
Have any pattern you think will work.....Let me know....

Miss Kitty's double..........She is asleep and can't be bothered so she sent in her stand in double......Oh! life is hard
for Miss. Kitty.  And this one needs contacts that are green.

Little Works of Art:

I wanted to share with you some post cards that was sent to me in a swap...They are so cute. These are so well made ....I love them....














I put them on my Hooster with my chickens.......This is where Miss Kitty gets on the top.....She loves chickens as much as I do......Just awesome....
